Saturday in the Gaslamp District of San Diego is always eventful especially when the Padres are playing. And as they were gearing up to play (and ultimately beat) the Baltimore Orioles, I was a block away in the Hard Rock Hotel‘s “Edge” room getting ready for the wedding of Dany Hage and Resah Murin. I was working alongside coordinator Kimberly Chebegia of Cynthia Zatkins Events who had been one of the day-of coordinators at my own wedding two months ago. It was good seeing such a familiar face and she was a pleasure to work with. The decor was gorgeous courtesy of the Hard Rock Hotel and Bradley Snyder and White Wedding Day Events. The purples, blacks, whites and ambers complemented each other very well and gave the room a nice feel.
They also had a very nice monogram (provided by the Hard Rock) that really accented their custom white dance floor (provided by Bradley Snyder and White Wedding Day Events)…
Once the clock struck 6:00, the guests started coming into the room and took their seats. The bridal party was introduced to “Hot Summer Night” by Yves LaRock and the guests were on their feet and making lots of noise for the lovely bride and groom Mr. & Mrs. Dany Hage! The newly-married couple went straight into their first dance, “The One” by Gary Allan.
Dinner was served after a heartfelt toast from the groom and ended up being a sing-along with the guests singing along loudly to “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond. I then made the announcement of the special entertainment Dany and Resah had planned for their guests during dinner, Sabrina the Belly Dancer. She entertained the crowd for about 25 minutes even managing to pull guests on to the floor with her including the bride and groom themselves…
The rest of the evening went off without a hitch and turned into an all-out party with a range of music from Michael Jackson to Ke$ha and Bon Jovi to Lady GaGa. Dany chose to end the night with “Young Forever” by Jay-Z so I gathered everyone on to the floor in a circle with the bride and groom in the middle. This really put a cap on the evening and really highlighted Dany and Resah and reminded everyone why we were all brought there on that evening.
I had a wonderful time working with Kimberly from CZ Events, Kira from The Hard Rock, Bradley Snyder, the videographers from Young Productions and the photographers Nick and Samaria of The Sprouting Image. Congratulations to the bride and groom Dany & Resah Hage and thank you for including me in your special day!

Thanks for sending this out – you’re on it! I really like your blog – it’s not something I see all the time for DJ’s, and hopefully not too many others will catch on to what you’ve got b/c it really does sell you’re services 🙂 It was great watching you work the crowd last night, and of course, it was great working along side of you.
Hopefully we’ll run into each other again sooner than later. Best of luck with all of your recent endeavors.
