What a wonderful way to spend my Saturday night! I had the opportunity to DJ for the 40th Anniversary of Balboa Travel Management which was held at the Prado in Balboa Park. This event was a collaboration between J. Soul Productions and our good friend Jerry Beck of Beck’s Entertainment and we provided the lighting and sound as well as a monogram on the dance floor. The party was so much fun and I have to thank the wonderful Denise Jackson (President of Balboa Travel Management), Skip Bath, Jill Valentine and the guests of honor Chairman Joe da Rosa and Vice Chair Mary Alice Gonsalves. I would be honored to travel anywhere Balboa Travel flies me to to DJ/MC the next special occasion. 🙂
J.,
We had a wonderful celebration and you made it incredibly special. You certainly have the “Midas” touch and we all took notice. We have decided to adopt you officially into the Balboa family!
Marly does quite a few fundraisers in town and she mentioned that she will be calling you in the future to assist, along with Balboa of course :).
Thanks for everything and we will send some photos soon. Have a great trip home to Texas and we look forward to working together again soon.
Warm Regards,
Denise Jackson, President

Thank you! Your professionalism and fun were just what we needed to round out our evening… and I’m pretty sure I saw you out there giving dancing lessons – that’s above and beyond the call of duty!! Thank You!!
All the best,
Skip Bath, Account Executive
For the second year in a row, I had the pleasure of being the DJ and MC at the Holiday party for the Appraiserloft. It was held this year at the US Grant Hotel downtown in the Celestial ball room complete with casino tables spread all around the room and plush lounge furniture through out. I provided pink and purple up-lighting around the room as well as a custom monogram and dance floor lighting. The dancing began after a welcome from the CEO Aman Makkar and a lot of dancing was definitely done. The music I played consisted of Electro, Hip Hop, R&B, New Jack, 80’s, 90’s, Latin and House. The crowd was very diverse so I tailored my mixing to fit the crowd. The event ended up going until 1am and the floor was packed from 9pm until the lights came on. My thanks go out to Melissa and Aman for having me back for a second year in a row and I’m looking forward to returning next year! 🙂

I had the opportunity to see one of my past brides Mrs. Danielle Lee when I DJ’d the Holiday party for the Home Depot she and her husband Brandon work for. I had such a great time DJing and MCing their wedding on October 10th of this year and I was excited to DJ for all of her co-workers. The party was held at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay and after an extended dinner hour, a few raffle prizes were given away. The prizes included a Magic Bullet, a Blu Ray player, a digital camera and the grand prize of a big screen plasma TV. After the raffle it was time to party and the amazing dancers in attendance really helped to make the party! I am super excited to hopefully return next year for their Holiday party and I thank Danielle for recommending me! 🙂
My good buddy Zack Gitler of ZG Productions gave me the opportunity to DJ one of his favorite clients Novatel Wireless for their annual Holiday party. The extravagant event was held at the Natural History Museum in Balboa Park and what a production it was! The evening featured dinner seating on two levels of the museum, a rooftop coffee and desert lounge, a rap skit featuring the CEO Peter Leparulo, video and photo montages and performances from Il Circo Entertainment. Their Cirque-style show captivated the audience and was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen at an event. After dinner and a few more presentations, I played a mixture of oldies and today’s hottest hits as well as Latin music to keep the dance floor moving. I had an amazing time DJing for Novatel Wireless and I hope to see them again next year! 🙂
